Denny signed up for the GreenRidge marathon, a 1/2 mile sprint from the beer cooler at the local Casey's, down the block and back again. It was a grueling race, but Denny managed it with pride. His doctor says he's lucky he didn't fall and break a hip at his age.

Hi, my name is Denny Perkins...Oh, wait, that was my last post. Yesterday (July 26th, 2009) I got to play in a benefit golf tournament for a little guy named Donovan, who has Leukemia. Friends and family turned out and everyone had a great time. Donovan's the one who's smiling. Oh, wait that would be everyone but ME! Really Donovan is the little guy in red who was thrilled that everyone came out to help his family out.

Hi my name is Denny Perkins, they tell my I need to write a bio for this
website. Okie dokie here goes

I've been in the radio industry for around 25 years, tried to get a real job
once or twice I didn't like it. I've done about everything there is to do in
this business, I am currently the morning guy on BOBFM, the radio voice for
State Fair Community College Baskeball, and do some radio sales. I love
doing sports, but my passion is music...I can't imagine going a day without
hearing music, my personal preference is Blues, Classic Rock and Classic
Country. That's why BOB is perfect for me..because the music is so
ecclectic, like my taste

I have been married to Jeri, my wife, for 24 years and have two gorgeous and
intellegent daughters, Sara and Abby.

They tell me I get to write a blog a couple times of weeks on this page, I
encourage you to help me do this, I promise not to write about politics or
religion or anything serious..I will write about music and entertainment and
hope to have fun with it..nothing serious, I"ll leave that to our news
department or Mike..I'd love your input maybe I'll even have a guest blogger
or two..anyway there's my bio..yawn
